Callander Meadows, literally across the road, offers walks (gentle or vigorous, depending on your mood). Callander Crags, at the back of the house, will challenge ‘weekend walkers’, or give those not accustomed to hill walking, a real workout. The Crags are particularly beautiful in spring and autumn.
The Callander Crags dominates the town from the North. The Crags are visible part of the Highland Boundary Fault, rising to 343m at the cairn. Local walks include Bracklinn Falls, The Meadows, Callander Crags and the Wood Walks. The town sits on the Trossachs Bird of Prey Trail.
